1. The process of electrofusion socket connection:
Check and cut the pipe-----clean the joint part-----the pipe fitting is inserted into the pipe-----calibration-----electric welding-----cooling
(1) Check and cut the pipe and cut the pipe: First, the surface of the pipe is made of building materials, and then the connecting end of the pipe is required to be cut vertically to ensure that there is enough hot-melt area. Commonly used cutting tools include rotary cutter, saw bow, plastic tube scissors, etc. High temperature is not allowed during cutting, so as to avoid high temperature deformation.
(2) Clean the joint part and mark the insertion depth line: scrape off the oxide layer on the surface of the pipe with fine sandpaper, scraper, etc., wipe the dirt on the connection surface of the pipe and the pipe fitting with a clean cotton cloth, and mark the insertion depth line.
(3) The pipe fitting is inserted into the pipe: the electrofusion pipe fitting is inserted into the pipe to the specified depth, and the welding machine is connected with the pipe fitting.
(4) Correction: Adjust the position of the pipes and fittings so that the pipes and fittings are on the same axis to prevent the eccentricity from causing the joints to be weakly welded and have poor air tightness.
(5) Power-on welding: The time and voltage of power-on heating should comply with the regulations of the electrofusion welding machine and the electrofusion pipe fittings manufacturer, so as to ensure that the welding joint can be obtained under the supply voltage and heating time.
(6) Cooling: Since the PE pipe joint can only reach its compressive strength after it is completely cooled to normal temperature, other external forces during cooling will make the pipe and pipe fittings unable to maintain the same axis, thus affecting the quality of welding, therefore, it is not allowed to move and be connected during cooling. parts or exert external force at the connection.
2. The electrofusion socket connection should also meet the following requirements:
(1) Measure the socket length of the pipe fitting and mark the insertion length mark on the insertion end of the pipe, scrape the skin of the insertion section with a special tool.
(2) Wipe the dirt on the connection surface of the pipe fittings with a clean cotton cloth.
(3) Insert the pipe into the fitting socket up to the length mark.
(4) Before electrifying, align the two corresponding parts to be connected so that they are on the same axis.
(5) Use a rounding tool to maintain the roundness of the insertion end of the tube.
3. Electric fusion saddle connection should also meet the following requirements:
(1) Electrofusion saddle connection shall use a mechanical device to fix the pipe section at the connection part of the main pipe.
(2) Keep it straight and round.
(3) The dirt on the connection part of the dry pipe should be wiped off with a clean cotton cloth and the skin of the connection part of the dry pipe should be scraped off with a special tool.
(4) Before energizing, the electrofusion saddle connection pipe fittings should be fixed on the main pipe connection part with a mechanical device.
