Introduction of SRTP pipes

Steel wire mesh reinforced PE composite pipe is an improved new type of steel skeleton plastic composite pipe. This kind of pipe is also called SRTP pipe. This new type of pipeline is using high-strength over-plasticized steel wire mesh skeleton and thermoplastic polyethylene as raw materials, and steel wire wound mesh as the skeleton reinforcement of polyethylene plastic pipe. The modified bonding resin tightly connects the steel wire skeleton with the inner and outer layers of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), so that it has an excellent composite effect. Because of the high strength steel wire reinforcement encased in the continuous thermoplastic, the composite pipe overcomes the respective disadvantages of the steel pipe and the plastic pipe, while maintaining the respective advantages of the steel pipe and the plastic pipe.

Our SRTP pipe adopts high-quality materials and advanced production technology, so that it has higher pressure resistance performance. At the same time, the composite pipe has excellent flexibility and is suitable for long-distance buried water and gas pipeline systems. The pipe fittings used in the SRTP pipe are polyethylene electrofusion pipe fittings. When connecting, use the heating body inside the pipe to melt the outer plastic of the pipe and the inner plastic of the pipe to reliably connect the pipe and the pipe together.

The pipes are generally connected by electrofusion and mechanical connection, and the strength of the interface is greater than that of the pipe itself, which can meet the use requirements in a variety of application environments;

7. Good hydraulic characteristics

The inner wall is smooth, not easy to scale, and the friction coefficient is low (0.009). The smooth surface and non adhesion characteristics ensure the pipeline transportation capacity, and also reduce the pressure loss and water transmission energy consumption of the pipeline.
