Technical requirements for HDPE pipe construction
HDPE pipe connection
The connection method of double wall hdpe pipe is generally heat shrinkable sleeve connection and electric heating belt connection.
(1) Heat-shrinkable sleeve connection Align the two pipes in a straight line. After removing the debris and moisture on the surface of the pipes, wrap a piece of heat-shrinkable tape around the joint of the pipes, and bake it with a flame spray gun to make the heat-shrinkable tape stick to the pipes. Put them together, then wrap another piece of heat shrinkable tape on the first heat shrinkable tape, fix the heat shrinkable tape with clips, and finally use a flame spray gun to heat evenly from the center of the heat shrinkable tape up and down. Then heat from left to right, so that the heat shrinkable tape is completely shrunk and wrapped on the pipe.
(2) Electric melting belt connection Align the two pipes into a straight line. After removing the debris and moisture on the surface of the pipes, use a piece of electric melting tape to wrap the pipe joints tightly and fasten them with a buckle. Connect the electric melting machine and start it. Set the current intensity when heating. After the heat melting process is completed, fasten the buckle again. After cooling for a certain period of time (generally, the cooling time is 10 minutes in winter and 20 minutes in summer) before releasing the buckle.

Connection between HDPE pipe and inspection chamber
The HDPE pipe extends into the well from the pipe trench, and the pipe is supported by two different types of support from hard to soft and from soft to hard. Precautions when installing HDPE pipe
(1) When excavating trenches, the elevation of the base should be strictly controlled. If the bearing capacity of the base is good, the undisturbed soil can be directly used as the pipeline foundation through proper treatment. However, if over-excavation or disturbance occurs, it must be backfilled with sand or good soil after tamping Then lay the HDPE winding pipe.
(2) When installing HDPE pipes in the lower groove, it is necessary to ensure that the drainage of the groove is smooth, and it is strictly forbidden to soak the groove to prevent electric shock accidents during electric heating.
(3) During construction in the rainy season, the length of the groove should be shortened as much as possible, and the groove should be formed and backfilled as early as possible.
(4) When hoisting HDPE pipes, use non-metallic ropes for two-point handling, and string hoisting is strictly prohibited.
(5) A certain depth can be over-excavated or a space can be reserved at the HDPE pipe interface to facilitate the welding of the HDPE double wall drainage pipe. After the connection is completed, it should be tamped here, which is the weakest part of the pipeline.
(6) When connecting HDPE double wall drainage pipe, adjust the heating time and current intensity according to the operating procedures, otherwise it will lead to poor sealing at the pipe joints.
(7) During the backfilling process, the sundries in the backfilling material, especially the hard objects with large particles, should be removed to prevent the HDPE winding pipe from being damaged.
(8) The HDPE double wall drainage pipe should be laid in a straight line, and when the flexible interface is used for laying, the relative rotation angle of each joint of the HDPE winding pipe should not be greater than 2° under normal circumstances.
(9) The compactness of the pipe area must meet the design requirements, achieve layered compaction, and carry out symmetrical compaction along the centerline of the HDPE double wall drainage pipe to reduce the deformation of the pipe.
